An EU co-funded initiative building resilience and innovation across Vocational Education and Training systems in Europe.
RAISE is a three-year Erasmus+ initiative that aims to improve the quality of vocational education in Montenegro and Albania. The project focuses on modernising teaching methods, strengthening the competences of teachers and training managers, and developing modern, sustainable and digitally equipped learning spaces.
A special focus is on the application of advanced technologies — extended reality (XR), artificial intelligence (AI) and IoT — providing students with experiential, interactive and motivating learning that meets the demands of the modern labour market.
Seven institutions from four countries (Belgium, Spain, Montenegro and Albania) form an international consortium bringing together vocational schools, universities, and European organisations specialised in innovative educational practices.
The project is structured into thematic work packages, each addressing a specific aspect of the RAISE mission.
Coordination, quality assurance, and financial management across all seven partner institutions throughout the three-year project.
Mapping existing VET systems in Montenegro and Albania, identifying gaps in digital and sustainable education practices.
Designing and delivering training programmes covering XR/AR, AI tools, IoT integration, and digital interactive learning methods.
Creating sustainable, technology-equipped Showroom Lab spaces in partner VET schools with VR devices, AI/IoT tools, and modern classroom design.
Implementing and evaluating the new methods and Showroom Labs at partner schools in Montenegro and Albania through structured pilot activities.
Sharing results through the project website, publications, events, and policy recommendations to maximise the project's long-term impact.
